Chassis
The surfaces of our computers are made of thin plates of aluminium. The plates are cut into size by laser, then carefully shaped, grinded, polished and engraved before they go through a surface treatment process to achieve the desired finish. The underside of the chassis is produced through a manual moulding process and covered with the finest quality of calf leather by seasoned upholsterers. A rectangular area in the computer's top plate is fitted with calf leather. The screen frame is made of mahogany and is finished with an oil treatment. The all-in-one keyboard surface is made of a material called 'pur'. Easily felt keys under this surface ensure typing accuracy whilst the pur material provides a soft and smooth typing feeling and prevents liquids from dripping into the computer.
